This week we will be talking about Author's Point of View, writing skills, and vocabulary. Below is the student's homework schedule.
Monday 10/31/2016 - DUE Monday VOCAB - Bring to class inside a pencil pouch, or Ziploc baggie your 10 flash cards we created on Friday. Write all 10 terms and definitions 1 time in a row on a separate sheet of paper. Place all of your flashcards with the definition side up and say or write the term at least 1x. - then check your answers. READING - 30 min. every day. WRITING - Book Report question should be answered. Tuesday 11/1/2016 - DUE Tuesday FINAL TYPED DRAFT OF BOOK REPORT - ASSESSMENT GRADE REFLECTION DUE - ASSIGNMENTS ON EDMODO VOCAB - Bring to class inside a pencil pouch, or Ziploc baggie your 10 flash cards we created on Friday. If you get all of the terms correct write all 10 terms and definitions 1 time in a row on a separate sheet of paper. Place all of your flashcards with the definition side up and say or write the termat least 1x. READING - 30 min. every day. WRITING - Book Report question should be written using the R.A.C.E method, and turned in to body paragraphs for the book report. Thursday 11/3/2016 - VOCAB - Quiz yourself on quizlet.com again and then write the terms and definitions you got wrong 10 times on a separate sheet of paper. BEST - bring in the print off of the quiz you took on quizlet, or a screen shot if you don't have a printer. If you get all of the terms correct write all 10 terms and definitions 1 time in a row on a separate sheet of paper. Place all of your flashcards with the term side up and say or write the definition at least 1x. READING - 30 min. every day. WRITING - Book Report introduction should be crafted. Friday 11/4/2016 - Vocabulary Quiz READING - 30 min. every day. WRITING - 2 Book Report questions should have been answered. Introduction should have been created, and now the conclusion should be created. Newly CREATED book report due on Tuesday.
